PhD Candidate and Tutor

Lyric Buzza is a PhD candidate at Griffith University, where she researches upstream approaches to preventing child sexual abuse. Her doctoral work explores the motivations behind help-seeking behaviours among individuals with self-disclosed sexual attraction to children, in close collaboration with the federally funded Stop It Now! helpline. She has presented her research at international conferences.

Beyond her PhD, Lyric’s interests include cybercrime and female offending. She also tutors and contributes to course development at both Griffith University and the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC).
