If you’re ready to progress your career, and want to do so quickly, we’re ready to help you achieve your goals.
Under our one-year masters pathway, your eligible work history and prior learning will be automatically applied towards your degree, setting you up to graduate in just 12 months.

Changing degrees or unis doesn’t have to mean starting from scratch. At Griffith, your previous study and experience is recognised with guaranteed credit of at least 40CP, helping you reduce course fees and save thousands.

When Yasmin Atwani was in Year 2, her teacher made her feel she could achieve anything. For the future aspiring educator—whose parents were refugees—this support was life-changing. “She told me that where you start doesn’t have to determine where you finish,” Yasmin says. “I chose to study education because I knew what an impact teachers can have. Knowing I could make a difference in a young person’s life mattered to me. I want to inspire my students to challenge their limits. I feel so lucky to have had so many different opportunities during my time at Griffith.”

“I’ll tell anyone who is worried abouttheir ATAR score that it definitely isn’t the end of the world.” Even though Mitchell Paternoster didn’t graduate with an ATAR, he was able to gain entry to study at Griffith because he completed a Diploma of Business while in high school. “I wanted to do aviation for as long as I could remember,” he says. “When we started discussing alternate pathways to help me get into aviation, my careers counsellor at school said that Griffith had a scheme that recognised a VET qualification. It’s been a good year. I’ve been really enjoying university,” he says. “I’ll tell anyone who is worried about their ATAR score that it definitely isn’t the end of the world and there are always pathways to get where you want to go. You just need to put your mind to it and work towards it.”
Future skills to succeed
Maxime AubertProfessor of Archaeological Science
An expedition led by Griffith researcher, Professor Maxime Aubert, discovered and dated what is believed to be the world’s oldest cave art in Indonesia. Dating back over 45,000 years, the discovery re-writes a key stage of humanity’s development and is featured in the Smithsonian. It was also named in the top 10 scientific breakthroughs of the year by the prestigious Science Magazine in both 2014 and 2020.
