Computer Loan Program

Yes. The computers will be loaned free of charge.

You will receive:

• an all-in-one Dell desktop computer with webcam
• preloaded Windows 10, Microsoft Office and Adobe software
• keyboard
• mouse.

You will need your own:

• home internet access
• network cable and connection to a home router
• WiFi adapter if required.

You will also need to collect and return the computer at the end of your loan.

Note: Office and Adobe software require an internet connection to work the first time. Adobe products need to login each time to use them.

After you register, you will receive an email asking you to make a booking to collect the loan computer.

On the day of collection, you will need to bring your student ID and organise your own transport to collect and return the computer at one of the below locations:

Appropriate social distancing measures will apply.

You won't need to do anything to the computer before taking it home; it can be loaded straight into your car.

You can call IT help on 3735 5555 or fill in an IT support form.

If the problem is hardware related, you can organise a computer swap by lodging another request and retuning the broken computer (subject to availability).

The computer must be returned in a timely manner once business-as-usual activities return at the University.

Don't forget, the computer labs on campus remain open, with appropriate social distancing measures in place.
