To be eligible, you must:

  • be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
  • be full-time enrolled in your second year of the Master of Speech Pathology degree at Griffith University
  • have a GPA of 5.5 or above.

Value

Maximum value is $5,000, payable in two instalments. Instalments of $2,500 are payable in Trimester 1 and 2, provided conditions are met.

Payment

Payments are made up to six weeks after the census date, subject to the recipient satisfying scholarship terms and conditions.

Work-integrated learning and internships

Here and Say would like to provide (not by obligation) compensated internship opportunities, workplace-integrated learning (WIL) to the successful recipients.

Arrangements for internships, work experience and/or WIL must be made on the University’s standard terms for such arrangements and must comply with the Fair Work Act 2009.

To remain eligible for the scholarship, recipients will be required to:

  • remain full-time enrolled at Griffith University in the program for which the scholarship was awarded
  • maintain a GPA 5.5 or above
  • agree to be approached by Hear and Say to provide testimonials and quotes for promotional programs and external activities
  • be willing to attend an awards ceremony (when offered).

The above conditions are verified each trimester at census date. If a scholarship recipient fails to successfully meet these conditions, scholarship payments may be withheld, or the scholarship may be terminated.

Applications, including referee reports and supporting documentation, must be completed and submitted by the closing date.

Applicants may be shortlisted and be required to provide additional information.

Griffith University reserves the right to withdraw an advertised scholarship at any time.
