The Griffith Business School’s Australian Indigenous Leaders of Tomorrow MBA Scholarship is for commencing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students of Master of Business Administration (MBA) and related Graduate Certificate in Business Administration (GCBA) and Graduate Certificate in Leadership Management (GCLM) pathway programs.

Scholarship details
To be eligible, you must:
- be an Australian citizen
- be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander*
- be eligible for admission to and commence, in the trimester the scholarship is awarded, one of the following:
- 5158 Master of Business Administration (MBA): South Bank, Gold Coast, Online
- 3047 Graduate Certificate in Business Administration (GCBA): South Bank, Gold Coast, Online
- 3267 Graduate Certificate in Leadership Management (GCLM): Online
- not be in receipt of another scholarship or bursary funded by Griffith Business School.
*You will be asked to provide a Confirmation of Heritage. Note: A letter of Confirmation is usually obtained from an incorporated Indigenous organisation and stamped with their common seal.

Value
The scholarship is valued at $5,000 payable in a single payment towards tuition fees, on confirmation of enrolment in the program for which the scholarship was awarded.
Payment
Contributions to tuition fees are made following the census date subject to satisfying scholarship terms and conditions.
To remain eligible for the scholarship, recipients:
- accept and enrol in the program, for which the scholarship was awarded by the close of enrolment in your commencing trimester of study
- not be in receipt of any other scholarship funded by the Griffith Business School.
Please also note:
- The scholarship cannot be deferred and must be applied in the trimester the scholarship was awarded. Students not enrolled or who withdraw from studies after census will forfeit their scholarship.
- This scholarship is only valid for courses within the MBA, GCBA and GCLM programs. It excludes all other Accelerated Online, and Open University Australia (OUA) programs and courses.
- Applications, including referee reports and any supporting documentation, must be completed and submitted by the closing date.
- The scholarship recipients will be liable for all other fees including any incidental fees (such as textbooks and course specific material) as well as any other fees levied that do not relate to the MBA, GCBA and GCLM course fees that are awarded as part of the scholarship.
- The scholarship will be provided as an offset to the student’s tuition fee prior to census dates each trimester.
- Recipients agree to participate in reasonable promotional activity related to the scholarship, at the School's request.

Griffith University reserves the right to withdraw an advertised scholarship at any time.

This scholarship is part of a suite of MBA equity scholarships that are targeted at members of the community who are under-represented in the MBA program and may not have the financial means to afford to study an MBA but would benefit from this qualification.
