Spectrometry equipment for a broad range of applications

Our Bourne Foundation NMR Spectroscopy Facility comprises 400 MHz and 600 MHz nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectrometers, a low-resolution mass spectrometer (LRMS) and a fourier-transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR).

The facility comprises a suite of instruments for a wide range of applications, including routine organic chemistry or small molecule characterisation, fragment-based drug discovery, high-resolution characterisation of complex organic molecules, and studying binding interactions between ligands and biomolecules, including proteins, viruses, cells or parasites.
