The Chief of Staff provides high level advice and strategic support to the Vice Chancellor and Executive on matters influencing the higher education sector. Sarah operates as a significant link between the Vice Chancellor and other senior executive staff of the University, academic elements as well as members of the internal and external community. She is responsible for the delivery of University-wide strategic initiatives and projects as well as the Vice Chancellor’s internal strategic engagement. Sarah leads the administrative functions of the Office of the Vice Chancellor.

The Director, Office of the Vice Chancellor and Transformation provides high level advice and strategic support to the Vice Chancellor and Executive on matters influencing the higher education sector. Stefie operates as a significant link between the Vice Chancellor and other senior executive staff of the University, academic elements as well as members of the internal and external community. She is responsible for the delivery of University-wide strategic initiatives and projects as well as the Vice Chancellor’s internal strategic engagement. Stefie leads the administrative functions of the Office of the Vice Chancellor including the Transformation Office.
Dr Jennifer Beattie
Director, Government Relations
Areas of responsibility
The Director, Government Relations has oversight of the University’s Government engagement strategy and framework. Jennifer coordinates and leverages internal networks of expertise to deliver University wide end-to-end Government relations management at a local, state and federal level. She is also responsible for formulating responses to government policy and providing strategic advice to University Committees and high-level information to senior officers.
Jessica Yuen
Senior Executive Officer
Areas of responsibility
The Senior Executive Officer in the Office of the Vice Chancellor (OVC) provides high level advice and supports the Vice Chancellor and Executive on governance and management issues. Jessica advises and assists the Director, OVC and Transformation in dealing with complex issues and policy matters by anticipating needs and focusing resources in the achievement of strategic goals. She has direction and oversight of resources, budget management, general office administration and communications. She also coordinates and prepares briefing papers and submissions on a wide range of issues and builds and maintains relationships both internally and externally.
Christine Kara
Senior Executive Assistant
Areas of responsibility
The Senior Executive Assistant provides high level and personal administrative support to the Vice Chancellor and is responsible for the day-to-day administration, policies and processes of the Office of the Vice Chancellor. Christine is the primary point of contact for the Vice Chancellor's diary, undertakes travel arrangements and supports the organisation of University corporate events.
Kelly Collyer
Executive Support Officer
Areas of responsibility
The Executive Support Officer is responsible for processing and actioning correspondence, managing the Vice Chancellor's public email account, contact databases and website. Kelly also manages information technology matters and provides administrative support to the Vice Chancellor and senior members of the Vice Chancellor's Office.

Administrative Support Officer
Areas of responsibility
The Administrative Support Officer provides general administrative support to the Office of the Vice Chancellor. Bianca also provides diary management support, reception to visitors to the Brisbane South (Nathan) Chancellery Office and finance administration.
