Providing affordable healthcare for our local community

We work as a team to ensure that the interventions we perform for your child suitably match the unique needs of your family. We have provided assessment and therapy services to the Gold Coast for over 10 years and have helped hundreds of children with OCD and Phobias.

Therapy Services

We provide evidence-based cognitive behavioural treatments for children and youth with OCD, anxiety, and phobias. These interventions can be flexibly delivered and are offered in a variety of formats - individual weekly sessions (10 sessions), intensive sessions (2 to 3 intensive daily sessions of three hours duration), and in group format (10 sessions).

Appointments and fees

All services performed in our clinic are charged on a fee basis and our rates are very competitive. If for some reason you are not able to make your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours notice or you may be charged for your missed session. Payment is required at the end of each session and can be made by cash, EFTPOS, HICAPS or credit card.

Rebates

There are a variety of rebate options available for services in our clinic. If you speak with your GP you may be eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan where you will receive 10 free sessions. Another option is the 'Better Access to Mental Health Care' initiative where eligible participants can receive between $84.50 and $124.50 back via Medicare on up to 10 individual and group therapy sessions per calendar year. Alternatively, you can speak with you private health insurer to see which psychology services are covered on your policy.

Clinical Supervision

We also provide clinical supervision to treating clinicians in delivering exposure-based CBT to children and adolescents. Please contact Associate Professor Lara Farrell directly on L.Farrell@griffith.edu.au
