Partnering with community-led organisations in Logan and Queensland
The Pathways in Place consortium was established in 2022 and is focussed on supporting community-controlled organisations in Logan. The program is currently supported by PRF and overseen by Griffith University.
Griffith University maintains a vibrant campus in Logan and is committed to the empowerment of local communities. The strategic vision for Logan campus is one of an intergenerational, intercultural campus and the university employs dedicated First Nations, Māori and Pasifika staff through Pathways in Place to support this work.

Gunya Meta Inc
Gunya Meta Inc. is a for-purpose Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community-led organisation, run by a majority First Nations board of local Logan City community members, employing local First Nations staff.

Institute for Urban Indigenous Health
The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH) is a for-purpose Community Controlled Health Service (CCHS) that has a strong presence in Logan through its highly innovative BiOC (Birthing in our Community) program, a maternity hub that includes peri-natal resources for First Nations mothers and families.

Village Connect
Village Connect a Pasifika Holistic Health hub founded upon culture, faith, family and future. It is a place based, grass roots, community-led organisation pioneering change through a holistic model that supports the flourishing of Pasifika and Māori people in Logan and beyond.

Mozzy Foundation
Mozzy Foundation is a for-purpose organisation based in Logan, which is dedicated to fostering the well-being of Māori and Pasifika communities in Australia, particularly in Queensland.

First Nations Cultural Immersion
"Gunyas to the Bunyas" three-day Equity partners field trip to one of the greatest sense making places in Australia.
Calibrating the work within the Aboriginal community control of Cherbourg. This is a deep dive into the complexity lived within Logan, led and grounded by the First Nations lead organisation, Gunya Meta and Bunya Burra Traditional Owners.
Pasifika Cultural Safety Training
This intensive workshop, delivered by Village Connect, provides a comprehensive introduction to Pasifika ways of knowing, being, and doing.
Through practical exercises and interactive learning, you will develop the skills and knowledge to apply this understanding in your daily work.
Collective Change Facilitation
Join us for a powerful four-day learning experience designed for those passionate about driving real, lasting change in communities and organisations.
This course is ideal for community members, leaders, practitioners, policymakers, organisational leaders, researchers, and funders—anyone ready to explore and strengthen their role as a change agent.
