Scholarship details
To be eligible, you must:
- be an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident
- be a Griffith Bachelor of Nursing or Bachelor of Midwifery program student and completed a minimum of 40CP
- be studying full-time at Griffith University
- demonstrate educational disadvantage based on a comprehensive assessment by the University
- be in good academic progress.

Application assessment
Information provided in your Griffith online scholarship application is assessed and ranked in accordance with the following Educational Disadvantage Assessment categories:
- Financial hardship
- Remoteness or relocation within Australia
- Home environment and responsibilities
- English language difficulty
- Personal illness and disability
- Educational disruption.
Priority will be given to the students who are not in receipt of any other scholarship funding, and who have demonstrated financial hardship and remoteness or relocation within Australia.
Value
Maximum value is $2,500, payable in a single instalment.
Payment
Payments are made up to three weeks after the census date subject to satisfying scholarship terms and conditions.
Payment is made, after census, on confirmation that you are enrolled at Griffith University and still meet eligibility requirements.
Applications must be completed and submitted by the closing date.
Offers are made via email.
Applicants may be shortlisted and be required to provide additional information.
Griffith University reserves the right to withdraw an advertised scholarship at any time.
