Scholarship details

To be eligible, you must:

  • be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or permanent humanitarian visa holder
  • be full-time or part-time (minimum 20 CP) enrolled in or be eligible for admission into and have applied by the closing date to commence full-time or part-time (minimum 20 CP) in Trimester 1 2024 in the Master of Cyber Security.
  • have achieved an undergraduate GPA of 5 or above.

Statements

  • Personal statement: In 500 words or less, outlining:
    • your learning and professional development goals, detailing how you would use your studies to further these goals and how the outcomes of these goals will be measured. Consider how your goals demonstrate innovation, and your commitment to creative excellence and intellectual rigour
    • how this scholarship will assist you in achieving your career goals and aims.
  • Supporting documentation: You must upload the following:
    • Curriculum Vitae (CV)—include your education and employment history
    • Other—If your undergraduate degree was not completed at Griffith University, upload a copy of your academic transcript.

Value

Maximum value is $4,000, paid in instalments. Instalments of $2,000 are payable for each full-time enrolled trimester, up to the maximum value of the scholarship, provided conditions are met. Pro-rata payments of $1,000 are payable for part-time (minimum 20 CP enrolment).

Payment

Payments are made within six weeks after census date, subject to recipients satisfying scholarship terms and conditions.

To remain eligible for the scholarship, recipients will be required to:

  • remain full-time or part-time (minimum 20 CP) enrolled at Griffith University in the Master of Cyber Security
  • maintain a GPA of 5 or above.

The above conditions are verified each trimester at census date. If a scholarship recipient fails to successfully meet these conditions, scholarship payments may be withheld, or the scholarship may be terminated.

Applications, including any supporting documentation, must be completed and submitted by the closing date.

Applicants may be shortlisted and be required to provide additional information.

Griffith University reserves the right to withdraw an advertised scholarship at any time.
