About Margaret Sheridan

Margaret is a First Australian descendant and raised her family in Charters Towers where she worked in health as the CEO of a health services department. She studied a Bachelor of Health Administration and received a scholarship to Curtin University to complete her Masters in Public Health Management.

She has a passion for chamber music, jazz, opera and the ballet. She enjoys the rich cultural life of Brisbane and has been delighted to attend many of the QCGU free lunchtime concerts in the Ian Hanger Recital Hall and the QCGU foyer. From this enjoyment she has considered for some time leaving a gift to QCGU to establish a scholarship. Margaret wants to ensure this music that she enjoys continues when she is gone. Discussions commenced in March 2019 around Margaret’s intention to make a donation, dependent on the sale of her Spring Hill unit. The apartment had been on the market since early 2020 and finally settled on 12 November.
