Support for high-achieving female students who are completing their engineering undergraduate degree
The purpose of the AECOM Women in STEM Bachelor of Engineering Scholarship is to support a high-achieving third or final-year student who identifies as female and is enrolled in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), including double degrees, at Griffith University.

Scholarship details
To be eligible, you must:
- be an Australian citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, Humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen
- identify as female
- be full-time enrolled in the penultimate or final year of the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), including double degrees
- have a GPA of 5.0 or above
- not be a recipient of any scholarship from Griffith University.

Statements
To give yourself the best chance, we recommend you complete the personal statement. All statements you complete will be considered.
- Personal statement: in 500 words or less, outline your leadership and community engagement activities.
Value
Maximum value is $8,500, paid in instalments. Instalments of $4,250 are payable in Trimesters 1 and 2 provided conditions are met.
Payment
Payments are made up to three weeks after the census date, subject to satisfying scholarship terms and conditions.
To remain eligible for the scholarship, recipients will be required to:
- remain full-time enrolled in the degree for which the scholarship was awarded
- maintain a minimum GPA of 5.0.
The above conditions are verified each trimester at census date. If a scholarship recipient fails to successfully meet these conditions, scholarship payments may be withheld, or the scholarship may be terminated.
The scholarship cannot be deferred. Recipients cannot take a leave of absence.
Applications, including referee reports and any supporting documentation, must be completed and submitted by the closing date.

Applicants may be shortlisted and be required to provide additional information.
Griffith University reserves the right to withdraw an advertised scholarship at any time.
