Student profile
Aviation has always been a big part of life for brothers Lachlan, Ethan and Tasman Barr, who grew up with their father as pilot.
All three brothers are currently studying Griffith’s Bachelor of Aviation degree with soon to be graduate, Lachlan, receiving a cadetship with Virgin Australia. First year student, Tasman, said seeing Lachlan get the virgin cadetship gives him confidence in the Griffith degree. ‘I see that it will open up pathways for my future in aviation.’
Architecture
Our degrees are distinctive in their emphasis on environmental sustainability and urban design. We are focused on global issues, particularly climatic responsive and sustainable design principles for the tropics and subtropics, relevant to our region and South East Asia. Our industry advisory board serves as an external guide to strengthen links with industry, to gain insight into new trends within the marketplace and to ensure our graduates have the skills that employers want.
