Here are a few comments from our 2025 Mosaic students.
"I'd been forced into early retirement, and I'd gotten depressed and someone recommended Mosaic. It helped to pull me out of my depression and gave me, I think it gave me an impetus to live. It's definitely, definitely given me motivation and confidence. Sometimes you don’t feel like going outside the house, the world doesn’t feel safe, and it’s lovely to come somewhere where you feel safe and you belong and people treat you so well."

"The confidence Mosaic has given me is incredible. Feeling so safe and exploding your thoughts and feelings onto a piece of paper and then walking away and feeling the sense of relief. It’s incredible. The friendships I’ve made have been amazing. People are on a similar journey and although we don’t talk about that, we know we are kindred spirits who understand where you’re coming from."

"I'm so excited. Now I started doing Toastmasters every second Tuesday night at my local community group because of this program. I've moved on. I'm going to keep my brain working. This is because Mosaic created a writing course, and now I go to Toastmasters because I like using that side of my brain and structuring words"

Converge at York St John University
Mosaic builds on the work of Converge at York St John University. Founded in 2008, it started with some short courses in theatre. Today the program welcomes over 300 Converge students from the community, with a prospectus of around 60 courses, each year. Converge in York has transformed hundreds of lives, saved substantial amounts of money for the health system, and shown a very strong social return on investment.
