Industry placements are an integral part of our health programs. They must meet our students’ academic and registration requirements, and align with the disciplines taught at Griffith.

Health placements can take many forms. Depending on your organisation, you might offer placements across multiple disciplines or provide bespoke specialist experiences.
Placements can be face-to-face or blended online, depending on the discipline.
Whatever shape the placement takes, Griffith provides you total professional support throughout the journey, with points of contact including discipline-specific Placement Officers, Academic Conveyors and Student Support Services.

Assurance and insurance
When you partner with Griffith Health, you can be assured our students have met all ‘fit for professional practice’ requirements of your organisation, including vaccination, licences and certification.
Griffith formalises all placements with Student Placement Agreements or Work-Integrated Learning Agreement. Health placements are covered by Griffith University insurances.
