The QS World University Subject Rankings evaluates more than 4,400 universities worldwide. In the 2021 rankings we are proud to have our Hospitality and Leisure Management subjects rank #1 among Australian universities and #21 globally, and our Sports-related subjects ranked #24 worldwide and #5 in Australia. Our Social Policy and Administration subjects rank in the top 120 and both our Politics, and Business and Management Studies rank in the global top 200.

ShanghaiRanking’s Global Ranking
The ShanghaiRanking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects evaluates over 4,000 universities worldwide. The 2020 rankings saw our Hospitality and Tourism Management subjects ranked No. 1 in Australia and 3rd globally. Our Political Science ranked No. 1, Business Administration ranked No. 9, Economics ranked No. 10 and our Public Administration ranked No 9. in Australia.

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2021 by Subject has placed Griffith University 7th in Australia and top 125 in the world for our business and economics subjects. Our MBA continues to stand out from the crowd, with CEO Magazine once again ranking the innovative program among the best in Australia and around the world. The MBA program achieved Tier One in the Global MBA Rankings, and our online MBA ranked in the Top 3 in Australia and #11 in the world.

In the 2019 The Australian Financial Review BOSS MBA Ranking, the Griffith University MBA has been ranked 5th nationally and 2nd for alumni satisfaction. We remain in Australia's top 5 ranked MBAs for over 6 years in 3 consecutive AFR BOSS MBA Ranking rounds.

EdUniversal Masters Rankings
Many of our masters degrees have once again achieved great results in the 2018 EdUniversal Masters Rankings putting us alongside the best in the world. Our MBA ranked 10th in the Oceania and our Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Management achieved a top 50 worldwide position.
