The Griffith Data Trust (GDT, formerly the Relational Insights Data Lab) is resourced to provide your organisation with a full suite of data services. Or team of data analysts, and policy experts help your produce robust, ethical and FAIR (Findable, Accurate, Interoperable, Reusable) insights that translate direct into better decisions, stronger programs, and demonstrable impact.
GDT plays a unique connecting and enabling role at the intersection of industry, government, and academic expertise. We operate as the data backbone of cross-sector collaboration-brining partners together and using data as the connective through-line, source of truth, and engine of shared insights. Whether you need GDT to work directly with your organisation on a standalone data challenge, or to act as a connecting partner- bringing together your work and Griffith's academic research expertise, and/or local, state, and federal government data assets- we are built for both.

Our work helps partners use data to inform policy, evaluate programs, strengthen services and create positive community outcomes. Across projects, we translate complex information into practical insight through tools and evidence that support better decisions, from the UNCDF Digital and Financial Literacy Survey Portal and the Rural Volunteering Vulnerability Explorer to Koala Guardians and the NAPLAN Achievement Data Explorer.
