2026 Animations
Below are two animations created by Griffith Film School students in 2025 that have been selected for the Score It competition. Students and teachers are permitted to use these animations as a part of their curriculum, or for extension or just for fun. Students who have complete and well-developed scores may wish to enter their score into the formal competition by following the instructions on the Submission page.
For those considering a formal submission, please be aware that there is a specific instrumentation required, and that there are technical requirements (frames per second, etc) to be aware of. This information can also be found on the Submission page.
As these animations remain the intellectual property of the filmmakers, they cannot be posted on social media or shared on YouTube with family, friends, etc. We ask that everyone respect this, and only use the films for their intended purpose.
2026 animations
Dragonkin
A dragon is left in charge of protecting their home after her father has left to hunt food for the upcoming winter. She’s put to the test when a boy from the nearby village her father had warned her about ends up seeking shelter in their home.

A hungry owlet falls from their nest, into a strange, whimsical world run by a ruling class of affluent mice.
