Aviation
Our award-winning aviation program is complemented by purpose-built facilities that offer a range of innovative and unique experiences to prepare our students for the world of work.
It includes an indoor drone-fly zone, a gantry to suspend lightweight vehicles for inspection and a cutting-edge VR lab, so students can hone their skills.
Science labs
Our Nathan campus is home to a range of cutting-edge teaching and learning facilities that are at the forefront of scientific innovation and environmental sustainability.
These include our six-star, green-rated Sir Samuel Griffith Centre, driven by solar power and hydrogen energy, our inspiring EcoCentre, and our soon-to-be opened Technical Annex and PsiQuantum ‘Test and Validation’ lab.
Griffith Student Investment Fund
From the Nathan Trading Room, our soon-to-be finance experts take charge of Queensland’s largest student-managed investment fund.
With access to $250,000, our students are able to invest in socially responsible ASX-listed companies, with all profits reinvested into student scholarships.
GUMURRII Student Success Unit
The GUMURRII Student Success Unit provides tailored support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students from orientation all the way to graduation and beyond.
With a presence on each campus, including Nathan, GUMURRII offers a safe, culturally appropriate environment that enhances the university experience for our Indigenous students.

Library
With resources on researching, writing, studying and referencing, our libraries are more than just books. They’ll help you get more out of your study experience too.
Our Nathan library is also open 24/7 for secure after-hours study.
Study zones
There are plenty of places around campus to hit the books or meet up for a team assignment.
But, if you need to knuckle down and focus, there are also bookable and free-use study spaces in our library.
Computer Labs
You’re welcome to use your own personal device for university study, but if you’d like to access a laptop or desktop computer, our computer labs in the Willett Centre (N53) are available 24/7 for your use.
Recreational facilities
Toohey trail run
This annual event sees keen amateur and elite athletes trade bitumen for the bush. Participants can choose to take on a 5, 10 or 21.1 km course, with $5 of each registration fee going to a charity partner.
Food and coffee
Choose from a range of mouth-watering menus, pick up a snack from one of the vending machines around campus or sit down for a quick coffee at one our cafes.
Shops on campus
It’s easy to pick up all your uni essentials on campus with a post office, chemist and more.
Accommodation
If you’d like to stay on or off campus, there are a range of accommodation options available, from dorm-style rooms to homestays.
