If English is your second language, our free, optional EnglishHELP (Higher Education Language Program) will help you improve your English through consultations, workshops and self-help resources.

Practise your English while enjoying social activities and community events with Griffith Mates—a diverse group of students from all over the world.
Griffith English Language Institute
Griffith English Language Institute's English language courses are designed for learners at every stage from beginner to advanced. Graduates can use their studies to qualify for a Griffith degree, as well as for travel or work purposes.
English Language Enhancement courses
Our English Language Enhancement courses aim to assist undergraduate, postgraduate and research students, whose first language is not English.
Undergraduate students
The course for international undergraduate students, called Language and Communication for your specific field of study, is a compulsory 10-credit point course. Details on the course can be found within the requirements of your degree.
Postgraduate students
The courses for postgraduate and research international students are available weekly. These are free, non-compulsory tutorials designed for building advanced academic language skills.
