The Arrow Energy Scholarships aim to deliver quality learning opportunities for our Traditional Owner partners and the broader Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community through the Go Further Indigenous Scholarships scheme. The Scholarships will provide financial assistance to enable students to purchase course requirements relating to the purpose of pursuing academic excellence.

The value of the Scholarship is $10,000 (pro-rata for part-time study).

Can I apply?

To be eligible you must:

  • be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
  • be enrolling in your first year of study or currently enrolled at Griffith University in an Undergraduate or Postgraduate course work program

    • Challenges experienced: Identify certain financial needs or challenges that have impacted your studies.

Value

Maximum value is $10,000 for a full time scholarship and $5,000 for a part time scholarship. Paid in 2 instalments in trimester 1  and 2, $5000 for full time scholarship and $2,500 for a part time scholarship up to maximum value of the scholarship.

The Scholarships will provide financial assistance to enable students to purchase course requirements relating to the purpose of pursuing academic excellence.

To remain eligible for the scholarship, you will be required to:

  • remain enrolled at Griffith University,  if awarded a full-time scholarship maintain a full-time study load or if awarded a part-time scholarship a part-time study load
  • maintained a cumulative GPA of 4 or above
  • sign the talent release form
  • provide a high res head shot photo: Photos must have a clear background, show head and shoulders only. Have eye contact and facing the camera; Show no-one else in the photo; Have sufficient room around the head and torso (no cropping from group shots); Are professional-looking (not webcam photos or from social occasions such as weddings and parties).
  • agree my result will be sent to Arrow Energy at the end of each teaching period
  • agree to be approached by Arrow Energy to undertake additional promotional and external activities.

The above conditions are verified each trimester at Census date. If a scholarship recipient fails to successfully meet these conditions, your scholarship payments may be withheld, or the scholarship may be terminate.
