What participants say
Being a Griffith Mates gave me the opportunity to meet people from diverse backgrounds, learn about different cultures, and create friendships that I know will last a lifetime. From the very first day, Griffith Mates welcomed me with open arms, and it became a source of support, belonging, and unforgettable memories. Whether it was organizing events, lending a hand to new students, or simply sharing a laugh with fellow mates, each moment enriched my university experience beyond the academic.
May, Vietnam
Being part of Griffith Mates has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my time at Griffith. Through volunteering, events, and meeting students from different backgrounds, I learned the real value of community, kindness, and connection. This journey helped me grow personally by giving me confidence and a sense of belonging, and professionally by teaching me teamwork, communication, leadership, and responsibility.
