A companion app for the Ethos heat health early warning system, designed to work with in-home sensors and a base station to help people stay safe and comfortable during hot weather.

The app provides access to real-time temperature and humidity data, personalised alerts, and practical cooling advice.

Developed as part of Griffith University's Ethos Project funded by Wellcome (UK), it supports older adults, families and carers in identifying and responding to heat-related risks in the home.

North Stradbroke Island

Developed to support residents and visitors of North Stradbroke Island (Minjerribah), this app provides local safety information, emergency resources, educational content, and interactive maps. Funded by Redland City Council and the National Recovery and Resilience Agency, it helps users stay informed, prepared and connected while living on or visiting the island.

An economic modelling and reporting tool that helps housing providers, policymakers, and investors assess the social and economic value of social and affordable housing projects.

Building on a decade of industry-led research, the tool enables users to evaluate impacts across multiple domains, model investment outcomes, visualise results through interactive dashboards, and generate evidence-based reports.

Developed in partnership with the Sustainable Built Environment National Research Centre (SBEnrc), the SAHI Tool translates complex housing research into a practical resource for investment and planning decisions.

OnTrack

Developed for the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), OnTrack helps female athletes track menstrual cycles, symptoms, training, and performance in one place.

The app provides cycle forecasts, reminders, and personalised insights, supporting a better understanding of the relationship between menstrual health and athletic performance. Funded by the Australian Sports Commission through the AIS.

A clinician-focused screening app designed to support the identification of cognitive-communication disorders following right hemisphere stroke. Developed in collaboration with speech-language pathology researchers and clinicians, the app guides assessment through a series of evidence-based screening tasks, captures evaluation results, and highlights areas requiring further investigation.

Patient confidentiality and data security were central to the design, with assessment data stored locally on the device and shared only between patients and their responsible clinicians.

Funded by The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation.

Simple-to-use journal app designed to take the pressure off patients or guardians of children with long-term health conditions like cancer or cystic fibrosis. Developed in collaboration with primary caregivers and clinicians, it tracks a patients medical history using IV devices.

Working collaboratively with Adjunct Professor Amanda Ullmann and Children's Health Queensland, our team produced an app (available on iOS and Android) that empowers users in their medical deicsions.
