Griffith Business School is actively seeking Partners to make an impact in the Student Investment Fund
The Fund was seeded by Griffith Business School in 2018 and provides outstanding finance students with access to Queensland's first and largest student-managed investment fund.
The School has committed a cornerstone investment of $250,000 and is now seeking co-contribution of $10,000 or more from 25 Partners, including alumni, friends of Griffith University and industry partners.
As part of the School growing its investment in the next generation of business leaders, we have established the Student Investment Fund. It puts theory into practice by giving students the experience of investing real money based on decisions they have reached through analysis of investment data.
The Student Investment Fund gave me the opportunity to completely tie together three years of commerce study through live equity research and investment. Through researching the company, forecasting financials, completing an intrinsic valuation, compiling a professional report and investing real money – I now have the confidence and the ability to apply my study at Griffith University to the world of equities.
