Jodie Arthur is the General Manager of Financial Crime and Group MLRO at Westpac, based in Melbourne, Australia. She was appointed to this role in February 2023 after serving as Head of Financial Crime for Consumer and Business since joining Westpac in July 2020.
With over 20 years of experience in the banking sector, Jodie has held senior leadership roles across multiple regions. Prior to Westpac, she was Regional Head of Financial Crime Compliance for ASEAN and South Asia at Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore. Before that, Jodie spent more than a decade at ANZ Bank in roles spanning Internal Audit, Operational Risk, Compliance, and Financial Crime. Her career began in London with Ernst & Young, where she worked for several years in risk and assurance.
Jodie brings deep expertise in financial crime risk management and a strong track record of leading global teams to deliver robust compliance frameworks and innovative solutions.
