The Education and Student Experience Plan 2026–2030 sets a clear direction for strengthening how students experience Griffith, from their first interaction through to graduation and beyond. It builds on strong foundations across learning, teaching and support, with a focus on improving consistency, reducing complexity and scaling what already works. At its core, the Plan is about connection, so students experience Griffith as a whole, not in parts, with support that is accessible, aligned and effective.
Our ambition is for every student to both make it and make it matter. This means supporting students to complete their studies and achieve meaningful outcomes, while also developing the capability, confidence and purpose to contribute to their communities and professions. The Plan responds to a changing higher education landscape by improving access, supporting a more diverse student cohort and preparing graduates for a rapidly evolving, technology-enabled world.
The Plan is delivered through four connected pillars: Purpose and Values, People, Partnerships and Impact, and Place and Community. Together, these provide a clear framework for delivering high-quality, inclusive and relevant education, supported by strong collaboration across academic and professional teams. Five strategic student initiatives bring this to life across the student journey, focusing on learning that matters, career readiness, student wellbeing and retention, access pathways, and flexible study options.
This is a shared effort across the University. Every role contributes to the student experience, and this Plan strengthens how we work together to deliver impact. By focusing on what matters most and improving how we deliver it, we can move from pockets of good practice to a consistently strong experience for every student, every time, supporting success, belonging and long-term outcomes.
