“It all started when I was really young, dreaming of meeting new people and learning a new culture and language. I can’t pinpoint exactly when that desire began, but it stayed with me for years until I finally took my first step — opening my laptop to search how to study in Australia and which universities were on the Gold Coast. I came straight to the place I always knew I wanted to live.”
Why I chose Griffith
“I already held a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from a well regarded university in Brazil, and I knew a Masters was the natural next step in my academic journey. I just knew that my experience at Griffith would be about more than assignments and that was exactly what I was looking for in a university.
I chose to major in Marketing and while it may seem quite different from Economics, I saw it as a complementary field. Together, the two disciplines give me the skills and flexibility to work across a range of industries and roles – and that has proven to be true.”
