Ms Natalia Drazek
(Elected undergraduate student member - from October 2024)
Natalia Drazek is a double-degree student studying Environmental Science and Business Management at Griffith University. She serves as the Undergraduate Member on the Griffith University Council and as Vice President of the Griffith University Gold Coast Student Guild, where she chairs the Sport and Cultural Committee and contributes to the Executive Committee and Guild Board. She applies her AICD Foundations of University Governance training to support strategic, evidence-based decision making.
Natalia’s leadership spans local and global initiatives. She is a member of Griffith Enactus and Enactus Australia and a United Nations Millennium Fellow. She has been recognised for her impact with multiple awards, including Gold Coast Youth Volunteer of the Year and Protecting Our Environment at the Gold Coast Student Excellence Awards in 2025, as well as the Griffith Business School Leadership Award, Griffith Sciences Engagement in Professional Development Award, and Griffith Sciences Dashing Debut Award in 2024.
She is a member of the Griffith University Student Academy of Excellence, recognising the top 5% of students, and the Golden Key International Honour Society, representing the top 15% of students globally.
Outside the university, Natalia currently works as an intern at South Queensland Environmental Expertise and Services, contributing to technical environmental reporting. She has also gained hands-on experience in environmental, safety, and business management through previous roles as Environmental Advisor at Energy Queensland, Sustainability Intern at Ecolinks in South Korea Seoul as a New Colombo Mobility Scholar, HSQE Intern at Keolis Downer, Research Assistant on CRC Plastic Waste, and Business Strategy Analyst at Harissa Business Partners.
