We have state-of-the-art Traffic Psychology Laboratories at our Brisbane South (Nathan Campus) and Gold Coast Campus locations, which feature:
- Advanced driving simulators capable of reproducing diverse road environments and scenarios, from urban streets to highways and extreme weather conditions
- Wearable physiological monitoring technology that captures real-time data on driver stress, fatigue, and wellbeing
- Cutting-edge eye-tracking systems integrated with gyroscopes and other sensors to investigate visual attention, hazard perception, and blind spot awareness
These technologies enable us to conduct safe, controlled research that would be impossible or dangerous to perform on real roads, while maintaining ecological validity and generating actionable insights for road safety policy and practice.
