Understanding and preventing youth sexual violence and abuse

Founded in 2001 and funded by the Queensland Government with in-kind support from Griffith University, the Griffith Youth Forensic Service (GYFS) provides state-wide specialist assessment and treatment services for young people adjudicated for sexual offences. It also operates as part of a broader program of research and practice concerned with understanding and preventing sexual violence and abuse.
