Cutting edge research to prevent crime and transform justice
The Griffith Criminology Institute is a world-leading institute for cutting-edge criminological research, delivering evidence-based solutions to real-world crime and justice challenges in Australia and internationally. As the largest and most diverse criminology institute globally, we address complex issues such as youth justice, sexual violence, policing, corrections, terrorism, and technology-facilitated crime through innovative, interdisciplinary projects. We have a strong track record of successful partnerships with government, community and industry, prioritising translation of high-quality research into policy and practice that reduces harm and builds safer, fairer communities.
While our work is conducted across many Indigenous lands, our offices are based on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
