Applied Research in Crime and Justice Conference
Griffith Criminology Institute, in partnership with the NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research, hosts the annual Applied Research in Crime and Justice Conference every two years in Brisbane. The conference showcases high quality Australian and international research on crime and justice.
Tony Fitzgerald Lecture Series
The Tony Fitzgerald Lecture and Scholarship Program was launched by Griffith University in 2009 to mark the 20th anniversary of the release of the Fitzgerald Report, which uncovered widespread corruption in the Queensland government. The Tony Fitzgerald Lecture is held biennially to commemorate the Fitzgerald Report which was a watershed in the political history of Queensland, Australia, and beyond.
