11–13 January 2027

Gold Coast

Give your aspiring students the opportunity to explore possibilities and unlock their leadership potential.

Held on the Gold Coast, selected students will be immersed in values that matter at Griffith, such as social equity and sustainability, to connect with their purpose and prepare for the future.

They will participate in:

  • leadership workshops from industry experts and changemakers
  • networking opportunities with like-minded peers from across South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales
  • interactive activities that build resilience and collaboration
  • unforgettable experiences at Griffith's vibrant Gold Coast campus.

Don’t miss your chance to nominate your students for our next Future Leaders Retreat! Selected students will learn new skills, discover interests and make friends they’ll carry through senior year and beyond. Your school will also benefit, with attendees returning inspired to lead positive change in their own community.

Nominating your students

You can nominate up to five students who will be commencing Year 12 in 2027.

We’re looking for young people who have led by example and made meaningful contributions to their school or community. We want to hear their stories and how they plan to use their education to create a lasting change.

Nominations are due by 12 October. Students will then need to submit a statement for use during the selection process.
