12–14 January

Gold Coast

Give aspiring students the opportunity of a lifetime to unlock their leadership potential.

Held on the Gold Coast, our 2026 Future Leaders Retreat has a program designed to instill your students with confidence for future study through:

  • leadership workshops from industry experts and changemakers
  • networking opportunities with like-minded peers from across South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales
  • interactive activities that build resilience and collaboration
  • unforgettable experiences at Griffith's vibrant Gold Coast campus.

They’ll learn skills, discover new interests and make friendships they’ll carry through school and beyond, so don’t miss your chance to nominate your students. Our Retreat will also benefit your broader school community, with attendees returning inspired to lead positive change.

Nominating your students

We invite you to nominate up to five students who will be commencing Year 12 in 2026. We’re looking for young people who have led by example and made meaningful contributions to their school or community. We want to hear their stories and how they plan to use their education to create a lasting change.

Nominations are due by 13 October. Students will then be asked to submit a statement that will be used during the selection process.
