These instructions have been provided as a guide to help you configure your Linux device to connect to the eduroam wireless network. While the wireless network has been designed to support as many platforms and devices as possible, the University does not provide technical support for Linux platforms beyond this self-help guide.
The following instructions have been written using Ubuntu 10.10
1. Connect to the eduroam wireless network
2. Select Wireless Security, Authentication, Inner Authentication as per screenshot below and
type in your Griffith Portal username with griffith.edu.au realm into Username field (ie. firstname.lastname@example.org) followed by your password and click Connect
3. If NetworkManager Applet window appears, tick Don't warn me again and click Ignore to continue
This completes the process of setting up your computer to access the eduroam wireless network.
