A Wi-Fi conference account is no longer an available option

As a result of changes to the Australian Data Retention legislation, we are no longer able to provide conference internet accounts.

The Telecommunications (Interception and Access) Act 1979 requires telecommunications companies to retain a particular set of telecommunications data for at least 2 years.  As the University provisions internet access to our Griffith community, we are required to comply with this legislation.  See the Australian Government website for details.

Use Griffith Public Wi-Fi

An alternative option is to offer guests use of the Griffith Public Wi-Fi

This Wi-Fi service is free for visiting guests who do not have a Griffith or an eduroam account.
