LiveLab: Griffith Film School's commercial production arm
LiveLab was established in 2010 as the commercial arm of Griffith Film School in Brisbane. We operate as an in-house production studio, the only one of its kind in Australia, offering students a unique opportunity to work in industry whilst studying.
Our Alumni are one of the Griffith Film School's greatest assets. They are making significant contributions to film, animation and games design both nationally and internationally and we encourage you to stay connected via Griffith University Alumni.

Film and Screen Media: The film and television industry in Queensland is well positioned to attract both domestic and international productions. With studio facilities, a unique environment and government incentives drawing productions across a wide range of genres and budgets to the state, you'll have the opportunity to thrive well beyond graduation.
Animation: We will prepare you for a career that includes many exciting and creative pathways, like designing characters and environments for 2D and CGI/3D-animated projects, scriptwriting, storyboarding and pre-visualisation, illustration, graphic art, compositing, matte painting, and visual effects.
Games Design: You’ll be well-connected to Brisbane’s thriving game development community and equipped to join the ranks of graduates working locally and internationally as game designers, game programmers, 3D artists and concept artists. Our graduates also find success in areas such as mining, medical simulation and training and educational software development. They have a strong tradition of forming their own independent game development studios.
