The QCA Galleries are a facility of the Queensland College Art. Exhibitions, guest lectures and artist talks are programmed throughout the year with exhibition opportunities available to students, staff and external exhibitors. Exhibitions are free and open to the public.
QCA Galleries aims to foster experimentation and innovation while providing a forum for research, ideas and exchange. Exhibition programing varies across each of the four gallery spaces, with a primary focus on contemporary art and design, research, curatorial projects and connections between artists from South East QLD and elsewhere.
Applications to exhibit with QCA Galleries are currently closed. Applications are accepted only once per semester, for the following semester. Priority will be given to Queensland College of Art students, however there are some opportunities for external exhibitors.
Applications for Semester 1 2016 (January–July) open in September 2015.
Applications to exhibit in the Whitebox Gallery, Gold Coast are open throughout the year.
