What is Green Impact?

Green Impact was developed by the National Union of Students (NUS) in the United Kingdom where it has run for over 14 years, reaching more than 340,000 people. In Australasia, the Green Impact program is supported by Australasian Campuses Towards Sustainability (ACTS). The Green Impact program is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Again in 2024, Griffith University is joining other universities and a growing number of organisations across Australia and New Zealand participating in Green Impact.
