Thembi Hanify

Queensland College of Art graduate

Working in the art department of New York-based fashion label Rag & Bone, design graduate Thembi Hanify has fond memories of studying at Queensland College of Art. “I really feel like I learned so much in my time there,” she says. “My tutors were very supportive and their real-world critique and experience gave me the knowledge I needed to make the jump into the deep end that is New York.” Thembi says it was great to be part of such a diverse creative community while studying. “Interacting with students from different areas, like photography and fine art, greatly influenced my approach to visual communication,” she says.
