In this specialised program, you will learn about the causes of crime and society's response through the justice system to address them.

In your first year, you will learn about trends in crime in Australia and overseas. You will study courses about police, courts and criminal law, forensic psychology and homicide. You will hear from academic and professional experts about how crime can be prevented and reduced.

In your second and third years, you will have the flexibility to specialise with elective courses in areas such as policing, working with offenders and victims, and analysing and preventing crimes. You will also have opportunities to study abroad and receive credit.

In your final year, you will have the option to complete a professional placement and gain practical justice-related experience.
