An actor needs discipline, dedication and determination to succeed in a competitive industry. We all continue to learn throughout our working lives but I applaud Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University for creating a new course designed to give emerging talent a sound grounding to start their career.
Bachelor of Musical Theatre
Graduating with a Bachelor of Musical Theatre in 2014, Jackson spent the next two years touring Queensland as a lead Shakespearean actor for the Grin & Tonic Theatre Troupe, also working with a number of other companies including Queensland Theatre. Jackson credits his time at the Con for so much of his aesthetic as an actor. `There is still so much I have to learn, but my training at the Con has held me in good stead for every project I've been involved with since.'
