Philippa Arrowsmith
Communication graduate
As part of her university-based internship, Griffith graduate Philippa Arrowsmith interned at Ruby Communications, a leading Gold Coast public relations agency. Once Philippa completed her internship she landed herself a job, now after two years working at Ruby she has been promoted to Senior Account Executive.
‘It’s a fast-paced industry, my day pretty much always starts with a coverage update where I scan all of the media and collate all of the coverage to send across to the clients. We work on campaigns, such as pitching profiles, tenants or clients to the media, hosting media calls, community management, content creation, event planning, and managing photoshoots – and that’s just the beginning’
‘There are endless jobs that you can secure with your degree, so don’t freak out if you don’t like your first job or experience. I encourage you to mould your interests around your future job and go full steam ahead’.

Scholarships
We offer a range of scholarships for new and continuing students.
