Create intelligent machinery to engineer the future.

Electronic control is now often used to operate a wide range of mechanical devices. This area, once called robotics, is responsible for the design of devices we might recognise as robots, but also covers many other areas where electronics and mechanics are used together in a system. Remotely piloted aircraft, factory automation and exoskeletons are just a few examples of systems in which mechatronic engineers might be involved. This major delivers core skills in both electronic and mechanical engineering, along with specialist courses which cover the integration between the two.
