Meet the demands of an evolving digital media industry
This new degree brings together technical and practical skills in intelligent digital technologies. You will learn the fundamentals of ICT problem solving and high-level programming skills for application in cutting edge fields such as the Internet of Things (IoTs), robotics, app and web development, big data analysis, and virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) applications. It encompasses a range of emerging technologies that will change how we live and work in the future. You’ll learn how to harness data and use it for a range of applications, from robots to app development.

You will gain practical problem solving and market relevant skills for many different platforms and applications. You will learn about trends in emerging technologies, coding and human-computer interaction then apply these skill to real industry experiences.
Tailor your degree
You can choose between two majors: IoTs and Robotics or Programming for Visualisation and Entertainment, or undertake both majors, from your second year. If you choose a single major, you will have the flexibility to undertake electives of your choice.
Focus on hands on learning
In your final year of studies, you will bring together your skills and knowledge in a work placement, providing you with first-hand experience of the knowledge, skills and attributes required to succeed in full-time employment.

You can create your course timetable to fit in with your job or your travel plans, just ask us how. With the flexibility of studying part-time or full-time, and over two or three trimesters each year, you have choices.

The information technology industry is experiencing rapid growth both domestically and internationally, and need graduates with product development skills such as those provided by this program.
Depending on your chosen major, you'll have opportunities to work in game development, film and television production, web development, sound production, visual media design, or multimedia production management.
