Globally recognised qualification

Griffith University's suite of public administration programs are focused on developing skills in governance, public management, leadership and policy making. They are geared to advancing career outcomes in the public, private and community sectors. Our expert teaching team includes academic staff with experience in a variety of governmental roles, and those at the cutting edge of public sector research and analysis.

The Graduate Certificate in Integrity and Anti-Corruption addresses integrity and anti-corruption policy and practice, from international and national perspectives. Through this program you will come to understand and be able to respond to trends and challenges in international anti-bribery and corruption, national integrity reforms, identifying and dealing with integrity risks and new directions in corruption prevention. Find out how to design, implement and monitor state-of-the-art ‘speak up’ and whistleblowing processes. Or discover how international business practices are adjusting to advance modern business ethics, corporate citizenship and stakeholder management in a fast-changing world.

The Master of Public Administration addresses key political, legal and governance structures; methods and strategies for conducting policy research to inform decision making; innovations in financial management, service delivery, ethics and accountability; relationships between government, business and community sectors; and the impact of regional and global pressures on public policy and management.

Lex Drennan

Master of Public Administration graduate, Lex Drennan, investigated the impact of emergency government funding on community resilience in the wake of the Brisbane floods, as part of her postgraduate studies. 'I was able to build on my previous employment experience in disaster management and apply my knowledge in a practical setting,' she says. 'Resilience is about making the community stronger and putting it in a position to cope better when the next disaster strikes.' Lex also had the opportunity to broaden her education experience when Griffith supported her two-month internship at the United States Congress through the Uni-Capitol Washington Internship Program.
