Build a career across any industry

Today's top managers think differently, act differently and make decisions differently than their employees. The abilities that separate leaders from followers are the same for executives around the world and Griffith's got them down to a fine art.

If you like to plan, organise, lead and direct groups of people to achieve a specific goal, then studying management is a good choice for you. You'll learn about management's core functions: communication, planning, teamwork, strategy, human resources and self-development. You'll also develop analytical, communication and decision-making skills, which will enable you to add value to any organisation.

Study management at Griffith

Set yourself apart

Effective business leaders know how to build a team, motivate employees and empower people to work towards a common vision. Griffith’s management degrees equip you with critical skills that will set you apart from the middle-managers. We’ll teach you how to communicate, analyse and make strategic decisions in a way that inspires people to follow you.

Hands-on learning

Get out of the classroom and into the field with a local or international internship or community internship. You’ll gain experience and professional connections working on a project for a real company or community organisation, plus credit towards your degree.

Study your way

Build your management studies around the lifestyle that suits you. With the flexibility of studying on-campus, online, part-time or full-time, over two or three trimesters each year, you can manage your student life. At Nathan and the Gold Coast, you can start your business degree in February, July or October.

Fast-track option

At Logan, you can complete your management degree in two years by studying on a three-trimester per year basis (four courses per trimester). Fast track options are also available at Nathan and the Gold Coast by studying over three trimesters.

5-Star Rated

Griffith Business School is rated 5-stars for Educational Experience and Teaching Quality in Business and Management by the Good Universities Guide 2018, a leading independent provider of high-quality education and career information.

Jordan Gailey

Jordan Gailey studied a Bachelor of Business majoring in management and finance and also found time in her schedule to be a student mentor, study group leader, and vice president of the Griffith Business Students' Association. She joined the Student Association to make the most of her Griffith experience and meet fellow students and found she was able to put her studies to good use managing activities for the group. After securing a role with leading international mining group Rio Tinto during her honours year, Jordan now works for Bechtel Corporation in contract management.
