Build a career across any industry
Today's top managers think differently, act differently and make decisions differently than their employees. The abilities that separate leaders from followers are the same for executives around the world and Griffith's got them down to a fine art.
If you like to plan, organise, lead and direct groups of people to achieve a specific goal, then studying management is a good choice for you. You'll learn about management's core functions: communication, planning, teamwork, strategy, human resources and self-development. You'll also develop analytical, communication and decision-making skills, which will enable you to add value to any organisation.
NEW scholarships - Second round applications close 3 Feb
We offer three new BusinessPLUS scholarship categories this year, which seek to reward potential as well as excellence - so it’s worthwhile investigating whether you might qualify to receive one. Scholarships can cover tuition fees, education and living expenses. You can apply if you are coming straight from year 12, or if you have left high school and are applying to start an undergraduate university degree. They add to over 600 scholarships available at Griffith. You can also apply for multiple scholarships with just one application; we’ll match you with the Griffith University scholarship you are eligible for and it's free.

Study management at Griffith
Set yourself apart
Effective business leaders know how to build a team, motivate employees and empower people to work towards a common vision. Griffith’s management degrees equip you with critical skills that will set you apart from the middle-managers. We’ll teach you how to communicate, analyse and make strategic decisions in a way that inspires people to follow you.
Get out of the classroom and into the field with a local or international internship or community internship. You’ll gain experience and professional connections working on a project for a real company or community organisation, plus credit towards your degree.

Jordan Gailey studied a Bachelor of Business majoring in management and finance and also found time in her schedule to be a student mentor, study group leader, and vice president of the Griffith Business Students' Association. She joined the Student Association to make the most of her Griffith experience and meet fellow students and found she was able to put her studies to good use managing activities for the group.
