At Griffith a subject is called a course and a degree is called a program.
Each program offered at Griffith University can be identified by a four-digit program code (e.g., 1034 is the program code for the Bachelor of Business at the Gold Coast campus). If you know your program code (your Welcome letter will state your program code), you can use this to search directly for your program.
- Go Programs and courses to find your program, enter the program code, select the 'Program' radio button and click on 'Search'.
Each program has degree requirements and course lists.
Degree requirements are the requirements to be met to be awarded your degree.
The course lists are the detailed description of the program, listing academic plans (e.g. majors, specialisations), courses and electives which should be taken to meet the degree requirements. Courses (subjects) are listed by the year and trimester in which they may be taken.
Refer to the course list in your program prior to enrolling each trimester so you can make sure you are enrolling in the correct courses to satisfy your degree requirements.
