The Introductory Academic Program is a compulsory five week program designed to prepare you for life in Australia and study at Griffith. It will be held at the Nathan campus for all newly arrived scholars.
The program includes information about:
- Australian culture and cultural adjustment
- finding accommodation
- budgeting your stipend
- using public transport
- family support
- health and well-being
The program will also prepare you for study with workshops on:
- enrolment and course advice
- academic writing
- plagiarism and referencing
- presentation skills
- computer skills and online services
- English language skills
The program is delivered by a highly qualified and experienced team of staff including learning advisors, librarians, computer training specialists and staff from Griffith International.
