You don’t know what you don’t know! That’s why it’s great to talk with other students. You’ll find out things that otherwise may have taken until your final year to discover. Tips on time management, effective note taking, great study and exam tips and advice and support.
First year students should not pass up PASS ! You will improve your results especially when you attend 10 or more sessions a trimester. It’s proven!
Financial stress can make focusing on your studies difficult. Worrying about money is a common experience for students. The Welfare and Student Liaison Office offers zero interest student loans, bursaries and budgeting advice to help you.
You are very fortunate to have access to an International Student Advisor who can help you with a plan of attack to improve your grades and get back on track. Make sure you meet with them and get started with your plan!
There are times in all our lives where personal factors affect our ability to work and/or study. We know this and our Welfare staff, Counsellors, Disabilities Officers, Chaplains and Equity Service staff can help.

Each year thousands of students transfer between degrees/programs. If you find the degree you’re in doesn’t fit with your goals, wishes or interests it’s simple and easy to transfer into another degree. If you want some guidance make an appointment with a Career Counsellor.
